Simple Roasted Taro with Herb Salt

Whole Taro

You’ll need:

  • 1 packet Masarap Frozen Whole Taro, thawed and peeled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

How to make it:

  1. Preheat & Prep: 
    • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • Cut the thawed taro into 1-inch cubes or wedges.
  2. Season: 
    • Toss the taro in olive oil, rosemary/thyme, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Roast: 
    • Spread the taro in a single layer on a baking tray.
    • Roast for 25-35 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and tender on the inside.
