WHAT IS
FILIPINO CUISINE?

Filipino cuisine is a colourful tapestry of flavours, 
shaped by centuries of history, culture, and trade.

Across the Philippines’ 7,107 islands, ingredients foraged from the mountains, gathered from rivers, and harvested from the sea come together with regional techniques and international influences to create dishes that are bold, comforting, and full of character. 

From Adobo and Daing na Bangus to Pancit and Ube Halaya, Filipino dished weave precolonial cooking methods and native ingredients with Spanish, Chinese, Malay, and other regional influences. The result is a cuisine that is vibrant, layered, and deeply rooted in the islands.
