Horseradish Leaves

You’ll need:

  • 1/2 packet Masarap Frozen Horseradish Leaves
  • 250g prawns, cleaned 
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 onion, diced 
  • 1 inch of ginger, grated 
  • 1 can (400ml) thick coconut cream
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (patis) 
  • Salt and chili to taste

How to make it:

  1. Sauté: 
    • Heat the oil.
    • Sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add Prawns: 
    • Add the prawns and cook until they change colour (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add Coconut Cream: 
    • Pour in the thick coconut cream and fish sauce.
    • Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add Leaves: 
    • Turn off the heat.
    • Stir in the Masarap Frozen Horseradish Leaves.
    • Mix well until wilted.
    • Season with salt and chili.
