Ube Kinampay Powder

Taste the purple magic of the Philippines.    Made from 100% real ube kinampay — Royal Purple Yam — this powder brings the sweet, nutty, and creamy taste of the islands to your kitchen. 

You’ll need:

  • 1–2 tsp Masarap Ube Kinampay Powder
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1–2 tsp sugar or condensed milk (adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Whipped cream or coconut milk foam, for topping
  • Ice (for iced version)

How to make it:

In a small amount of warm milk (about 3-4 tbsp), whisk the ube powder, sugar or condensed milk, and optional pinch of salt until smooth and fully dissolved.

For a hot Ube latte:

  1. Heat the remaining milk until warm but not boiling.
  2. Pour in the ube mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. Pour into a mug and top as desired.
  4. Optional: sprinkle a pinch of ube powder on top.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy.

For an iced Ube latte:

  1. Fill a glass with ice and add about ¾ cup cold milk.
  2. Pour in the ube mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. Top as desired.
  4. Optional: sprinkle a pinch of ube powder on top.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy.
