Grated Cassava

Freshly grated cassava, snap-frozen to save you time, an essential ingredient for delicious Filipino cakes and snacks. You’ll need:

  • 1 packet Frozen Freshly Grated Cassava Masarap, thawed and well drained
  • 1 small onion, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup flour (or cassava flour for GF option)
  • 1 egg Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

How to make it:

  1. Combine:
    • In a bowl, mix the drained grated cassava, minced onion, flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form:
    • Form the mixture into small, flat patties (fritters).
  3. Fry:
    • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

 

Masarap Tip: Serve with sour cream, sweet chili sauce, or a fried egg on top.
