Whole Cassava

You’ll need:

  • 1 packet Masarap Frozen Whole Cassava, unthawed Water for boiling
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or parmesan)
  • Salt to taste

How to make it:

  1. Boil: 
    • Place the unthawed cassava in a pot and cover with water.
    • Bring to a boil and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  2. Drain & Mash: 
    • Drain the water and let the cassava cool slightly.
    • Cut into bite-sized pieces (or roughly mash if preferred).
  3. Finish: 
    • Toss the warm cassava with melted butter and salt.
    • Top with grated cheese.
